Job Context:

∎ General Functions:
∎ Under the direct supervision of the National Programme Officer (NPO) of the project and overall supervision by the Head of the Migration & Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day to day implementation of activities of the assigned project titled "Creating Models of Ethical Recruitment Practices in Bangladesh".

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Organize logistics, documentation and correspondence related to implementation of IRIS related activities.
∎ 2. Support the NPO in liaising the IRIS partners and organize IRIS related meetings/trainings and workshops.
∎ 3. Assist the supervisor to build the capacity of the participating recruitment agencies to develop individualized action plans including a monitoring framework to oversee sub agents' activities in two project districts.
∎ 4. Plan the administrative and other operational arrangements for all IRIS related activities (including procurement documentation and processing, travels arrangements for non-IOM actors, etc.)
∎ 5. Maintain and regularly update information related to implementation of IRIS related activities.
∎ 6. Draft activity reports, project report, and donor reports as per the donor agreement.
∎ 7. Assist the NPO to develop IRIS outreach and information material.
∎ 8. Plan the logistics, administration and coordination of meetings, workshops, seminars, trainings and conferences at the national level as well as other events.
∎ 9. Complete Purchase Requisition for all relevant program activities and ensure proper quotation from vendors and follow up on any finance/admin related paperwork related to the project
∎ 10. Remain responsible for the maintenance of project related files, documents, equipment and database etc.
∎ 11. Undertake duty travel relating to the project activities, as required.
∎ 12. Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Three years of experience in handling projects, administrative and logistical issues.
∎ Prior experience of working in UN agencies will be considered as an asset.
∎ Strong interpersonal and ability to work in a team.
