Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)

Experience:

• At least 2 years

• Diploma

• Diploma on Livestock (Preferred)/Diploma on Agriculture/ Graduate and working experience on Integrated Agricultural/value chain Project, minimum 04 years.

• At least 2 years

• Age At most 35 years

• Should have minimum 2 (two) years of job experience in the area (s): Value Chain Development Project on Dairy/Duck/Vegetables, etc.

• Confidence and belief in sustainable socio-economic development through strong cooperation between private sector, NGOs, and Government.

• Clear understanding on Pro-poor Value Chain Development engaging private sector, climate change, Gender Perspective in Bangladesh, etc.

• The candidate must have a valid driving license and practical experience in motorcycle riding.

• Mentally sound, good health, smart, energetic, work ability in pressurized situation.

Job Context:

Project Title: Strengthening livelihoods of poor farmers through Inclusive Value Chain Development (SLPFIVCD)

Project introduction: This project is to develop a strong value chain of poor people’s vegetables and other agro-products. The project will try to introduce nature-based solutions to protect the environment and biodiversity. The project will so empower vulnerable men and women considering the cast and creed, ethnicity etc. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Business Supervisor in selecting potential farmers for Value Chain Manage (Dairy, Duck & Vegetables’ Intervention) and oversee all activities.

• Identify Local Service Provider (Dairy, duck and vegetable’s Intervention) and trained them on job basis.

• Facilitate training course for farmers on Dairy & Duck rearing and production technologies on vegetables’ cultivation.

• Ensuring regular vaccination event for Dairy and Duck through Local Service Providers

• Facilitate Producers’ Groups for stronger relationship building among the private sectors and input service providers including Dept. of Livestock.

• Identify new actors and engage them in a specific Value Chain

• Establish linkage and strengthen relationship with service providers, vendors, and relevant Govt. Authorities (DLS, DAE, DAM, BADC, etc.)

• Design appropriate training module on Livestock for trained up staffs and farmers.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly work plan

• Contribute project management in reporting, monitoring and providing technical guidance.

• Contribute project management in assigning any jobs as per project requirement
