Job Requirements:
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in microfinance, with at least 5-8 years in a senior leadership role, strong regulatory compliance (MRA), and field management skills.
Deep understanding of MRA regulations in Bangladesh.
Proven track record in digital financial services, strategic planning, team management, and financial analysis.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Bengali and English.
Commitment to working with marginalized communities.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, problem solving skills.
Frequent field visits.
Physically and mentally sound with good health, smart, energetic, ability to for trouble shooting and work in all situation and environment.

The Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) is a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering a just and caring society since 1973. CCDB is currently seeking an energetic, creative, experienced and dynamic person for Head of Micro Finance Program (MFP) position.
The main objective of this program is to create sustainable employment opportunities and raise income level of the members by enhancing their capacities with systematic productive base. CCDB MFP has been trying to promote credit support to members for their own economic development as well as to contribute in expanding the national economy.
Job Summary:
The Head of Microfinance is responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, financial sustainability, and social impact of the organization's microfinance operations in Bangladesh. This includes driving digital transformation, portfolio growth, risk management, and regulatory compliance with Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) and Bangladesh Bank regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the microfinance strategic and annual operation plans,
Ensuring alignment with organizational goals for poverty alleviation and financial inclusion.
Identify opportunities for expansion, innovation and new financial products
Operational Management:
Oversee branch-level operations, including disbursement, collection, savings, and loan product diversification (e.g., SME, agriculture).
Weekly, monthly and yearly target fixing and monitor the achievement analysis the activities.
Financial Management:
Oversee budget preparation and financial planning,
Achieve annual targets for loan portfolio growth, maintain high recovery rates
Fund management, organizing resources, financial and technical for implementation of the annual program activities.
Risk & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) rules,
Manage credit risk, fraud prevention and internal audit findings,
Implement risk mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership & Capacity Building:
Lead, train, and mentor staff to improve field-level performance and uphold organizational values.
Promote a culture of Accountability, Transparency and Teamwork.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain relationships with regulators, partner organizations.
Represent the organization.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Oversee MIS & reporting systems,
Prepare Monthly progress report and submit to the authority
Prepare financial reports for Commission and Annual General Meeting
Manage internal/external audits.
Field Visit: Regularly field visit for supervision the target vs Achievement and variance.
