Experience:
• Minimum of two years of experience in community-level implementation of GBV Case Management focused development or humanitarian projects.
• Fluency in English and Bangla (reading and writing); knowledge of the local Cox’s Bazar dialect an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively in the targeted camps in Teknaf.
• Approachable, attentive listener and easily accessible for community communication.
• Demonstrates honesty, fosters openness and transparency, and upholds the highest standards of integrity.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player, and to work with disaster-affected communities in a sensitive and participatory manner

Key Area 1: Case Management & Survivor Support
• Identify, receive & respond to urgent & high risk GBV & Child protection concerns through safe and ethical means, ensuring timely referral to specialized services following survivor-centered approaches.
• Conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments and develop individualized case action plans.
• Provide psychosocial first-line support (PFA) and ongoing case follow-up.
• Ensure timely and appropriate referrals to health, legal, psychosocial, shelter, protection and other critical services.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and informed consent at all stages of case management.
• Implement problem management plus session
• Support GBV prevention activities, including awareness and other community-based interventions as assigned.
Key Area 2: Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, intake forms, consent forms, and follow-up records without collecting identifiable survivor data beyond necessity.
• Prepare regular case management reports and submit them to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Support safe data collection and contribute to GBVIMS as required.
Key Area 3: Community Engagement & Coordination
• Work closely with community volunteers, Community outreach officers, and women-friendly spaces to identify vulnerable individuals.
• Participate in GBV working group meetings, case conferences, and coordination forums as assigned.
• Strengthen referral pathways through coordination with NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, and service providers.
Key Area 4: Capacity Building & Awareness
• Support GBV awareness sessions and life skills activities for women and girls.
• Contribute to community-based GBV prevention initiatives in collaboration with the project team.
Key Area 5: Safeguarding & Compliance
• Adhere strictly to GBV guiding principles of safety, confidentiality, respect and non-discrimination, safeguarding policies, child protection standards, and organizational codes of conduct.
• Ensure accountability to affected populations (AAP) and promote a do-no-harm approach in all activities.
• Report safeguarding concerns and incidents promptly in line with organizational procedures.
