Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

The purpose of this role is to effectively design and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system to track the progress and effectiveness of the overall grants efforts.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and review cost proposals for the assigned project.

  • Ensure a comprehensive monitoring system to track actual against projected expenditure of funds received.

  • Coordinate with Govt. liaison team regarding budgeting and reporting for NOGAB.

  • Ensure timely submission of proposal budgets and reports to donors.

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and also encourage others to do so.
