Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Social sciences, development studies, social work, sociology, community development, or a related field from a recognized university.
Minimum 2 years of relevant field-level experience in humanitarian programs, preferably in community outreach, beneficiary management, social welfare, shelter, protection, or refugee response interventions.
Skills:
• Previous experience working in refugee camps, humanitarian response, shelter, site improvement, community development, or social protection programs.
• Experience supporting distributions, beneficiary targeting, household verification, and community outreach activities.
• Familiarity with digital data collection tools such as KoboToolbox, ODK, CommCare, or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of shelter repair, site development, or other community-based infrastructure interventions.
Summary: The field facilitator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day implementation of project activities at the community level, ensuring effective engagement with beneficiaries and timely delivery of assistance. Based in teknaf, cox's bazar, and covering camp 21, the position conducts household assessments, beneficiary verification, home visits, distributions, awareness and demonstration sessions, and regular field monitoring activities.
Contract Duration: 6 Months (No Extension)
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Objective 1: Providing community engagement, project implementation and beneficiary support.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with beneficiaries, community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct household visits and community outreach activities to identify beneficiary needs and implementation issues.
• Assist vulnerable households in accessing project information, services, and assistance.
• Support awareness sessions, demonstrations, and community meetings related to project activities.
• Promote community participation and encourage beneficiary engagement throughout the project cycle.
• Support the implementation of project activities at the field level in accordance with approved plans and schedules.
• Coordinate closely with engineers and technical staff during shelter repair, site improvement, solar assistance, and other project interventions.
• Facilitate communication between beneficiaries and project teams regarding planned activities and implementation schedules.
• Assist in monitoring the progress of field activities and report implementation challenges to supervisors.
• Support quality implementation by ensuring activities is carried out in line with project standards and procedures.
Objective 2: Conducting beneficiary assessment while ensuring inclusion, and safeguarding
• Conduct household assessments, beneficiary verification, and routine field visits in accordance with project procedures.
• Support beneficiary identification, registration, targeting, and validation processes.
• Collect and verify beneficiary information to ensure eligibility and accuracy of project records.
• Assist in identifying vulnerable households, including Extremely Vulnerable Individuals (EVIs), for appropriate support and referral.
• Report any discrepancies or concerns related to beneficiary data and eligibility.
• Promote safe, dignified, and inclusive access to project assistance for all beneficiaries.
• Ensure appropriate consideration of the needs of women, children, older persons, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.
• Identify and report protection risks, safeguarding concerns, and barriers to assistance.
• Support referrals of vulnerable individuals through established projects and organizational mechanisms.
• Adhere to the organization's safeguarding, PSEAH, protection, and Code of Conduct requirements at all times.
Objective 3: Providing distribution, field monitoring, data Collection and documentation support
• Collect project-related information and field data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of field activities, beneficiary interactions, assessments, and follow-up visits.
• Support data verification, documentation, and reporting processes as required.
• Assist in preparing field reports, activity updates, and other project documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of beneficiary information.
• Support the organization and implementation of distributions and related field activities.
• Assist in verifying beneficiary attendance and receipt of assistance.
• Monitor distribution activities to ensure they are conducted safely, transparently, and in accordance with established procedures.
• Observe and report any concerns related to access, inclusion, protection, or beneficiary satisfaction.
• Conduct follow-up visits to assess beneficiary access to and use of project assistance.
Objective 4: To ensure employees adhere to ethical standards, organizational policies, and legal requirements while maintaining integrity and professional conduct at all times.

Objective 5: Ensure the implementation of Qatar Charity’s safeguarding standards, including PSEA and GBV prevention, across all project activities to maintain a safe and accountable environment.
• Implement and monitor safeguarding measures, ensuring compliance with Qatar Charity’s PSEA and GBV policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Abide by QC’s Child Protection and Safeguarding related policies to keep children and young people safe and to respond to concerns about a child's safety or wellbeing.
• Establish and maintain confidential, accessible reporting channels for safeguarding concerns and ensure timely response and escalation.
• Collaborate with HR and relevant departments to integrate safeguarding into field activities.
• Ensure risk assessments include safeguarding considerations and mitigation strategies for all project activities.
