• The consultant will be carried out over a period of three months (approximately 12 weeks) from the date of contract signing, including preparation, consultations, reviews, and finalization of the resource books.

Consultancy for Developing Three Resource Books for NGO Staff and OPA Leaders

The consultant will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and building upon existing ISHC documentation and practices
• Conducting a desk review of relevant national/international literature, policies, and reports on ageing, gender, DRR, and CCA
• Engaging with ISHC/OPA leaders, older persons, and NGO staff through Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), or stakeholder consultations
• Documenting best practices, case studies, lessons learned, and key recommendations
• Integrating national and global policy frameworks (e.g., NSSS, Sendai Framework, SDGs, UN Decade of Healthy Ageing)
• Ensuring content is participatory, inclusive, and easy to understand
• Ensuring gender sensitivity and inclusion of marginalized groups, including older women and persons with disabilities
• Submitting draft and final versions of the three resource books incorporating stakeholder feedback
• Preparing a presentation summarizing key findings and recommendations for project stakeholders
