∎ Position: Programme Manager - "Decent Employment for Marginalised Youth in Retail" Project; Skills Development Programme (Contractual)
∎ Job Location: BRAC Head Office

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Projects Coordination & Management:
∎ • Manage "Decent Employment for Marginalised Youth in Retail" project to ensure smooth implantation
∎ • Develop the project document (ProDoc) with detailed operation plan involving multiple work stakeholders (retail business)
∎ • Lead the project in achieving the results; ensure that the quality of services is maintained at the highest standard, and that all project objectives and deliverables are met
∎ • Represent the programme in various internal and external platforms in retail business; which will include attending periodic meetings and follow up activities assigned by the supervisor and programme management
∎ Monitoring and Supervision:
∎ • Ensure regular monitoring and supervision of project activities, resources and identify improvement areas to ensure quality
∎ • Ensure regular liaison with stakeholders for prompt collaboration and course correction
∎ • Ensure progressive learning capitalization and identify challenging and development areas
∎ Partnership Management:
∎ • Manage effective stakeholder communication and collaborate with implementing private sector partners and donors
∎ • Identify and leverage opportunities to develop partnership with renowned retail organizations for learner placement and job linkage
∎ • To assess the need of the private sector partners to include the knowledge in project implementation
∎ • Establish partnership with Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) to standardize and receive approval of the curricula and standard
∎ Conducting Research and Project Evaluation:
∎ • Ensure the commission and conduct of baseline, midline and evaluation study of the projects and ensure its proper implementation
∎ • Ensure day to day project activity and output data are being utilised properly
∎ Documentation & Communication:
∎ • Ensure analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as project's impact reports and recommend necessary improvement areas
∎ • Ensure timely delivery of the project performance report with Programme Head and relevant stakeholders
∎ • Ensure delivery of project information and narrative to enable quality and on time donor reporting
∎ • Disseminate the decisions and new initiatives as per monthly, quarterly and annual performance review meeting
∎ Safeguarding:
∎ • Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ • Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure
∎ • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 -7 years of relevant professional experience in project management, programme planning, resource management and operations, monitoring and evaluation, partnership management, research and other related fields. Previous experience in managing partnership with private sector organizations will be an advantage
∎ Additional Job Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge on development sector of Bangladesh
∎ Sound understanding of budgeting, project planning and implementation tools
∎ Knowledge of promotional and branding tools
∎ Experience in retail business
∎ Experience in M&E will be an added asset
∎ Extensive work experience in project management
∎ Should have leadership, pro-activeness with analytical and problem-solving abilities and attitude
∎ Strong networking and team management skills
∎ Demonstrated critical thinking with strong detail orientation
∎ Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills both in English and Bangla
∎ Efficiency in quality report writing and reviewing
