Responsibilities & Context:

Creative Conservation Alliance (CCA, registered as The Society for Conservation of Natural Resources) is an international award-winning, government-registered, Bangladesh-based non-governmental organization committed to protecting, restoring, and conserving Bangladesh’s threatened biodiversity and natural habitats. As a growing organization, CCA achieves conservation success through scientific research, community engagement, provision of livelihood services to nature-dependent communities, conservation breeding and rehabilitation of threatened wildlife, rewilding, advocacy, and outreach.

Background

The Creative Conservation Alliance (CCA) implements long-term, site-based conservation programs across six key geographical areas in Bangladesh. Our integrated initiatives include conducting biodiversity surveys and ecological studies, monitoring wildlife, operating a conservation breeding and rehabilitation center for threatened species, and working closely with local communities to provide livelihood and veterinary services. CCA collaborates actively with both government and non-government agencies to achieve its mission.

We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and collaborative team player to join our team at the Head Office in Mirpur, Dhaka. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and management skills, and must have a strong understanding and active interest in nature conservation. This individual will work closely with both the Admin and Program teams to ensure smooth organizational operations and the successful implementation of project activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and program support to ensure the smooth operation of the Head Office.

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and logistical execution of field-based conservation program activities.

  • Facilitate clear communication and coordination between the Admin team, Program team, and field staff.

  • Support the monitoring and reporting of project activities to help track progress against conservation goals.

  • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and events, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing follow-up actions.

  • Assist in facilitating correspondence with key governmental and non-governmental partners.

  • Provide comprehensive support for HR and administrative operations, including recruitment coordination, record-keeping, and office management

  • Provide support in managing communications with government agencies and NGO stakeholders.

  • Participate in and support community outreach and awareness initiatives.

  • Occasional field visits to CCA’s program sites may be required.

General Tasks

  • Draft, edit, and format documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence.

  • Manage office filing systems, both digital and physical, for easy retrieval of project and administrative data.

  • Handle travel arrangements and logistics for staff and visitors.

  • Manage the inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and in good working condition.

  • Assist with data entry, management, and preliminary analysis of field data.

  • Attend regular meetings/trainings/workshops as and when required by the management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of CCA.

Required Skills and Job Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for environmental and nature conservation, aligned with the mission of CCA.

  • Possesses a strong cultural sensitivity and a non-discriminatory mindset, essential for building trust within diverse teams and communities.

  • Prior internship or volunteer experience in an NGO, conservation, or office environment is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Works effectively with different teams and demonstrates a supportive, cooperative attitude.

  • Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks in a dynamic work environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bengali and English.

  • Maintains composure and effectiveness under pressure.

  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and personal accountability.
