Job Purpose
The Senior Officer, Monitoring, will be responsible for facilitating job readiness and entrepreneurship training for Career Hub participants, enabling them to develop employability skills and readiness for sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities
Arrange and conduct job readiness and entrepreneurship training for Career Hub participants to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial skills.
Assess the needs of participants by identifying skill gaps and learning requirements and supporting the development of relevant and contextualized training materials.
Support the development of comprehensive training packages by assisting in defining training duration, schedules, number of batches, batch size, session plans, and trainees’ handouts.
Evaluate post-training sessions by collecting participant feedback, assessing learning outcomes, and preparing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Follow up with participants after training to track progress, provide guidance, and support meaningful employment or entrepreneurship outcomes.
Conduct visits to partner training centers and workplaces to observe technical and theoretical sessions and ensure the quality and relevance of training delivery.
Prepare and maintain required reports and documentation by compiling training records, monitoring reports, and sharing updates with project stakeholders and supervisors.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
