Experience:

• At least 2 years

• Diploma in Medical Technology (Physiotherapy)
• Masters

• Diploma in Physiotherapy or Master’s in any subject

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age At most 30 years

• Minimum 2 years of a prior experience in community-based rehabilitation

• Prior experience in working with NGO`s

Project Overview:

Jugantar Samaj Unnayan Sangstha (JSUS) is implementing “The Meaningful Participation and Inclusion of Children and Youths with Disabilities in all domains of CBR(MAPinCBR) Project” in Banshkhali Upazila under Chattogram district with the financial support of LiLiane fonds and Technical support of Centre for Disability in Development (CDD).

This project aims to improve the lives of children aged 0-12 with developmental delays and disabilities by strengthening the community-based system for early identification and early intervention. The organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced CBR Facilitator for smooth operation of the project.

Project Title: The Meaningful Participation and Inclusion of Children and Youths with Disabilities in all domains of CBR (MAPinCBR).

Technical and Fund Support: Liliane Fonds of Netherlands and CDD of Bangladesh

Duration: December 31,2029

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Education intended to change community perceptions toward disability outlook through advocacy and community sensitization

• Conduct household level survey to identify childen with disablities at community level .

• Promote early detection of disabilities and early intervention

• Promote school mainstreaming and inclusion for children with disabilities

• Conduct acessibility assessment at community schoold .

• Undertake home visits to children with disabilitiesand also provide training to improve their skills and abilities to participate in the family and social life

• Provide social support to persons with disability and their families

• Identify and refer children with disabilities for early intervnetion and early intervention

• Do follow - up of children with disabilities referred for services and care

• Participate in the planning, effective organization and reporting of community outreaches.

• Provide required support to children with disabilities in getting Disability Identity Card , Disability allowance , edicational stipend ,

• Collaborate with Persons with disabilites and caregiver , involve them in program activities

• Arrange health camp at commuity level .

• Follow up the implementation of the field day to day activities

• Field quality assurance.

• Ensure participants/Stakeholders satisfaction of the training

• Supervise and follow up of the training workshops

• Preparing training plans and timetables for training programs in coordination with project manager

• Provide all training requirements

• Evaluation and analyzing the results of (pre and post- training courses)

• Support children with disabilities for timely birth registration and complete Immunization
