Experience:
2-3 years’ community mobilization or NGO field experience; prior work with Rohingya communities preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills, local community knowledge, credible and trusted by participants.
Skilled in building trust, fostering relationships, and ensuring smooth access in culturally different communities.
Fluency in the local dialect (Rohingya; Chittagongian) is highly desirable for this position.

1. Background
Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha (BNPS) is a national women’s rights organization working since 1986 to promote gender equality, social justice, and women’s empowerment. Under the UN Women supported project “Strengthening the leadership of Rohingya and host community women peacebuilders to advance social cohesion and gender-responsive protection in Cox’s Bazar,” BNPS will work with 11 Women Peacebuilding Groups (WPGs) across nine camps and two host communities.
2. Job Summary
Act as the primary field presence for assigned WPG(s): mobilize participants, facilitate meetings, ensure safe engagement, collect data and support implementation of activities.
3. Key Responsibilities
Mobilize local women and target participants to ensure inclusive participation.
Assist with organizing and facilitating WPG meetings, demonstrations, trainings and dialogues.
Keep accurate attendance, beneficiary registers and support MEAL data collection (surveys, forms).
Monitor community dynamics and early-warning signals; report to Project Officer and Protection/Gender Officer.
Support referrals and accompany clients to service providers when required (with consent and safety measures).
4. Deliverables & KPIs
Weekly activity logs and up-to-date beneficiary lists.
100% of assigned activities documented (attendance + event minutes).
Rapid reporting of incidents and referrals within 24 hours.
Mobile allowance, travel reimbursement, and benefits as per BNPS HR policy.
