• Should have sound knowledge of Pre-production Activity, Cutting, Sewing (Must know – How to operate Sewing Machines), and Finishing.

• Should have Basic Knowledge of MS Office & email communication.

Context:

A Production Technician in a woven garment factory plays a crucial role in ensuring that the manufacturing process operates efficiently and that garments meet quality standards.

To oversee and manage the technical aspects of the production process, ensuring that the garments produced meet the required specifications for quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The Production Technician works closely with the production team, operators, and quality control to ensure smooth production flow.

Responsibilities:

• Set up the line as per the layout sheet.

• Check production and daily output and ensure quality.

• Balance the absenteeism from existing manpower.

• Ensure the best quality and find out the root cause of defects.

• Check the Issue for all workers as per daily requirements.

• Balance the line as per the IE report & graph.

• Train the weak operators for improvement.

• Have to ensure the proper utilization of man, machine & materials.

• Responsible for all fit, construction, and technical-related efforts to production.

• Take measurements and make comments on fit and workmanship of photo, size set, and pre-production samples.

• Advice/help the QC team and factories to solve production issues.

• Validate PPS (Production Planning System) for production also regarding fabric quality and colors for all product groups.

• Setting up short line and increasing efficiency for small quantity orders (less than 500 pieces).

• Any other activities as and when required by the management.
