Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
5–7 years of experience as a Merchandiser (local/Export) in the apparel industry (Local Fashion Brand Preference)
Strong knowledge of fabric, trims, garment production, and buyer compliance standards.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP knowledge is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end production process, ensuring the timely execution of orders with the highest quality standards. This role requires close coordination with buyers, factories, and internal teams to ensure smooth sampling, approvals, fabric utilization, and production follow-ups
Location: Head Office, Mirpur-1, Dhaka
Key Responsibilities
Sampling & Approvals
Monitor and manage the sampling process (FIT, PP, TOP, Tags, and shipment samples).
Ensure samples meet buyer requirements and approval deadlines.
Prepare and maintain accurate sample tracking forms (e.g., QA5, internal reports).
Production Coordination
Follow up with factories and suppliers to ensure timely bulk production.
Track fabric and trims status, ensuring on-time sourcing and delivery.
Coordinate with QA team for test reports and ensure compliance with buyer standards (e.g., FEF requirements).
Consumption & Costing
Prepare fabric consumption with marker planning before production.
Verify post-consumption after receiving bulk fabric and adjust records accordingly.
Support in cost calculations to ensure accurate order profitability.
Communication & Follow-up
Maintain effective communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Provide regular production updates and highlight potential risks or delays.
Troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with the production and quality teams.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain production files, approvals, and records in a systematic manner.
Generate daily/weekly status reports for management review.
