Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidate must have good manufacturing exposure in PP woven bag production areas like :PP woven bag manufacturing including extrusion, lamination, rewinding, weaving, conversion, printing, stitching etc.
∎ Overall management and control of production outputs, breakdowns, downtime, trials, quality, production issues etc.
∎ Achieve & exceeds production output targets efficiently & effectively.
∎ Control & reduction in scrap / wastage and time losses.
∎ Ensure that the deviation in consumption is as per the set target.
∎ Efficient supervision & monitoring of shift production while ensuring adherence to quality & safety parameters. Carrying out breakdown analysis and rendering troubleshooting and technical support to the team.
∎ Identify, deploy and train required manpower to ensure flawless production and mixing operations.
∎ Planning & controlling overall activities connected with safe and efficient operations, implementing quality standards for meeting the set targets within time & cost parameters.
∎ Analyze the materials requirement across the plant in terms of quality & quantity to avoid any wastage.
∎ Ensure the availability of all required resources viz. machines, equipments, spares & tools while ensuring timely maintenance & repairing of faulty equipments / machines to avoid time, material and production losses.
∎ Monitor adherence to data sheets and working & control instructions. Improve data sheets.
∎ Continuously evaluate and improve the skills of production employees for production expertise, extrusion process, multi skilling, upkeeping of machines, safety and develop sense of economy.
∎ Provide analysis and strategic inputs to Plant Manager on utilization, datasheets, wastage, overtime, manpower requirement, various projects etc.
∎ Co-ordinate and carry out customer specific/ standard color & dcor matching trials on extrusion machines.
∎ Monitor and control critical inventories of inks, primer, lacquers, screen rollers, rubber rollers & print rollers as well as maintain up to the optimum level and coordinate the requirements with the concerned.
∎ Reconfirmation of physical stock (weekly/ monthly).
