Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Production Planning & Execution:Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.Monitor daily production activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and manage unexpected delays.Quality Control:Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.Implement and maintain quality control procedures and practices.Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues related to product quality.Team Management:Lead, mentor, and manage the production team, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.Identify training needs and coordinate with HR to provide necessary training programs.Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and other best practices in production management.Collaborate with the R&D department to integrate new products into the production line.Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and company policies.Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.Promote a culture of safety within the production team.Resource Management:Manage the allocation of human, material, and financial resources to meet production goals.Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operational.Reporting & Documentation:Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics.Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
