Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
∎ Monitor daily production activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and manage unexpected delays.
∎ Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
∎ Implement and maintain quality control procedures and practices.
∎ Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues related to product quality.
∎ Lead, mentor, and manage the production team, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
∎ Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
∎ Identify training needs and coordinate with HR to provide necessary training programs.
∎ Continuously evaluate production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
∎ Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and other best practices in production management.
∎ Collaborate with the R&D department to integrate new products into the production line.
∎ Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
∎ Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
∎ Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
∎ Promote a culture of safety within the production team.
∎ Manage the allocation of human, material, and financial resources to meet production goals.
∎ Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
∎ Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
∎ Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics.
∎ Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
