∎ Job Summary:The Production Manager will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day manufacturing operations in a paint factory. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of high-quality paint products while managing a team of production staff.

∎ Reports To : Executive Director

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Production Planning:
∎ Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
∎ Monitor and adjust production plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand, inventory levels, and unforeseen circumstances.
∎ Team Management:
∎ Train, and manage production staff, ensuring that they are well-qualified, motivated, and aligned with company objectives.
∎ Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement among production personnel.
∎ Quality Control:
∎ Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain product quality and consistency.
∎ Investigate and resolve quality issues, working in collaboration with the quality assurance team.
∎ Process Optimization:
∎ Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
∎ Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities as necessary.
∎ Safety and Compliance:
∎ Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
∎ Promote and enforce safety best practices within the production team.
∎ Inventory Management:
∎ Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overages, while minimizing storage costs.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain a steady supply of raw materials.
∎ Cost Control:
∎ Monitor and control production costs to meet budgetary goals.
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective production methods.
∎ Reporting and Documentation:
∎ Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality data, and incident reports.
∎ Generate regular performance reports for management review.
∎ Communication:
∎ Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, procurement, and engineering, to ensure effective cross-functional communication and coordination.
∎ Act as a liaison between production staff and upper management, relaying important information and updates.

Additional Requirements:
