Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline, Diploma in Engineering in IE & Planning
∎ Skills Required: Buyer Handling, Incharge (Cutting/ Sewing/ Finishing/ Floor etc.), Lean Management, Quality Inspection
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
3 to 4 years experience in same position, Ability to communicate effectively, Able to work under pressure, Production, production management (Cutting), Production Management (Finishing), Production Management (Sewing)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all activities from cutting to shipment & Coordination with cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, maintenance, store, IE, Planning & Merchandising team for smooth operation of production.
∎ Ensure achievement of production targets and guide production teams to attain targets for the respective unit within given time-frame.
∎ Direct and control the day-to-day operations of the production department ensuring that the production plan is adhered to by customer requirement.
∎ Direct and control the improvement of production processes & reduce all types of wastage by proper planning.
∎ Good knowledge on Pattern and marker, technically problem solving ability with required quality standard.
∎ Achieve optimum level of productivity by maintaining AQL required by buyer.
∎ Identify production line blockages and take necessary steps to solve.
∎ Ensure daily, weekly & monthly production as per planning.
∎ Monitor, control and utilization of man, machine & material for optimum productivity.
∎ Maintain quality product for each style and no compromise with quality at everywhere (ensure shipment with zero defects)
∎ Supervise production floor for highest level of productivity given by management.
∎ Establish effective communication with cutting and finishing responsible personnel to fulfill the order quantity and avoid any short shipment.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kind of wastage like rejection, alteration, over production, and extra working hour.
∎ Familiar with SAM, Efficiency, DHU & 7 point quality checking system.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development.
∎ To be implement in lean 6 sigma and 5s in all production process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Good interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
∎ Technically sound with good sewing skills

∎ Incumbent should have working experience as a Production Manager from any reputed Garment/ Apparel industry.
∎ Applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Production, Line Balance Method.
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills in Bengali and English.
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented.
∎ Should have updated knowledge on sewing technology, garments quality.
∎ Should be highly experience to handle small, small quality(knit, woven, undergarments, jackets, blazer, fashionable items.)
