Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in any discipline/ Master's degree in any discipline.
∎ Having sound knowledge on IE will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare production schedule in collaboration with the merchandising/supply chain department.
∎ Handling all types of production issues, section by section coordination, and especially focusing on the cutting, sewing & finishing section.
∎ Report to production head about daily & total production status according to order and style.
∎ To distribute duties and responsibilities of subordinates, supervise their work and keep connection with the respective department.
∎ To keep close eyes for achieving production target in order to implement the production schedule.
∎ Responsible for Formulate work schedules for the production team & achieving daily production target with buyer quality standard.
∎ Conduct Pre-production meetings with merchandising team, Buyer representative, and QA department to take over the job as per the style.
∎ Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality standards & team performance & Finlay making sure that product and procedures are on time and of good quality.
∎ Ensuring Optimum utilization of man, machine & material for higher productivity;
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of production wastage like rejection, alteration, over cutting, over production, and extra hour work;
∎ Manage all aspect of production from line feeding (layout) to packing to ensure the targets are met by delivering the quality goods on right time;
∎ Identify development opportunities (skill development trainings, technical training requirements) for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the production staff for improving the overall production standards;
∎ Efficiently utilize manpower to achieve the hourly/daily production target;
∎ Responsible for bulk approval, bulk production, coordination, and sampling.
∎ To lead the whole production and manufacturing process.
∎ Day-to-day production plan to meet customer delivery date, implement and focus on customer requirements.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on basic issues of social compliance;
∎ Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities on the production floor;
∎ To follow the principle of cost minimizing.
∎ Any other job assigned by the higher management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience as a "Production Manager" for a Knit Garments Factory.
∎ Excellent knowledge on pattern and marker.
∎ Must possess very good interpersonal skills, to maintain effective relationship with Workers, Supervisors and Managers.
∎ Should be well-behaved, honest and able to achieve target.
∎ Good knowledge of Compliance, Labor Law and Rules & Regulations of the RMG sector in Bangladesh
∎ Should have knowledge in Social, Technical Audit.
∎ Able to work independently and proactively.
∎ Strong leadership and team management skill
∎ Good computer skills.
