• Bachelor`s degree (minimum) in Finance, Accounting or a business-related field from a reputed university.

• Candidates with a background in project finance, environmental economics or sustainable development will have added advantage.

• 2 to 5 years

• Minimum 2-5 years of business experience in a bank/financial institution.

• Exposure to structured finance, green financing or project assessment is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical ability in financial and credit evaluation.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; expertise in financial modeling is essential.

• Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English, both written and spoken.

• Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management capability and problem-solving aptitude.

• Knowledge of Bangladesh Bank refinance schemes, ESG frameworks and sustainable finance regulations.

Job Summary:

The individual will support the end-to-end process of structuring sustainable finance projects, developing refinancing proposals and coordinating with stakeholders for green finance initiatives. The role requires strong financial analytical capabilities, industry research skills and the ability to build effective internal and external partnerships to ensure regulatory compliance and sustainable portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Origination & Client Relationship Management

• Conduct regular client visits to assess refinancing and sustainable financing potential.
• Generate and follow up on leads for refinance, green finance and project-based funding opportunities.
• Maintain the health and performance of the assigned client portfolio.
• Financial & Project Analysis
• Analyze client financial statements, forecasts and project viability.
• Develop and evaluate project financial models using Excel to assess structuring options.
• Prepare industry reports, sustainability assessments and economic forecasts to support investment decisions.

Documentation & Proposal Development

• Prepare detailed Information Memoranda, visit reports and refinancing applications in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
• Develop project documentation required for syndicated lending, green finance certification and Bangladesh Bank refinancing schemes.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including Bangladesh Bank, BFIU, NBFIs, corporate clients and syndicated lenders.
• Collaborate with internal teams (CRM, Treasury, Operations, Risk) to ensure seamless execution of project financing deals.

Regulatory Reporting & Governance

• Ensure timely submission of all internal and regulatory reports including those related to refinancing schemes, sustainability assessments and green bond utilization.
• Maintain compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines to promote ethical and transparent governance practices.

MIS & Monitoring

• Develop and maintain MIS related to structured finance, refinance exposure and green/sustainable finance performance.
• Monitor ongoing project KPIs and repayment schedules to ensure credit health and early risk identification.
