- 20 or more years of experience in Polypropylene (PP) and Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) manufacturing plants in anywhere.
- Experience in the execution of PP green field project.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to Communicate with stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, etc.

Meghna Group of Industries is one of the leading conglomerates in Bangladesh, having modern manufacturing facilities & plants for Cement, Beverage, Tissue & hygiene products, Full Cream Milk Powder, Condensed Milk, Steel Fabrication, Edible Oil, Flour, Water, Paper, Mustard Oil, Spices, PP Woven Bag, Poultry Feeds, LPG, Chemical, Petro-Chemical, Biscuits, Noodles, Aviation, Securities, Power Plant, etc. Recently, MGI also launched PVC and PET resin plants in 2021. The MGI Management now wants to expand its polymer business with the existing petrochemical site at Narayanganj, Dhaka. The Proposed Project is to produce Polypropylene (PP) using the Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) route. So, we are actively searching a Plant Head for Polypropylene (PP) & Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) typically involves a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership qualities. The position will report to the top Management for the duties and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire project lifecycle from concept development to commissioning and startup, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Lead to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations to ensure seamless execution of the project.
Identify and mitigate project risks, and resolve any issues that may arise during the project execution phase.
Liaise with stakeholders including clients, regulatory authorities, and contractors to ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications.
Lead a multidisciplinary project team, providing guidance, direction, and support to team members.
Communicate project objectives, progress, and updates to the senior management and other stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance, increase efficiency, and reduce operating costs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Negotiate contracts, agreements, and change orders with suppliers and contractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the project.
Prioritize safety as the top priority throughout all project phases, ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
