A.      Develop, implement and manage comprehensive master production schedules and daily/weekly shop floor plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders and plant capacity.

B.      Forecast production needs by analyzing historical data and market trends specific to the leather industry.

C.      Adjust plans proactively to accommodate changes in demand, supply chain disruptions or production line issues, communicating all updates effectively.

D.     Oversee inventory levels for all raw materials work-in-progress and finished leather goods. Ensure optimal stock to prevent production delays while minimizing excess and uselessness.

E.      Develop material planning models and parameters to ensure proper procurement timing for critical components.

F.       Interface closely with the purchasing and warehouse teams to expedite problem parts, reschedule deliveries and maintain a steady flow of supplies.

G.     Identify inefficiencies in the planning process and production workflow. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance productivity.

H.     Utilize planning software, ERP systems and data analysis tools to drive informed decision-making and create actionable reports for management.

I.        Serve as the key liaison between Sales, Operations, Procurement and Quality Assurance to ensure alignment from order receipt to product delivery.

J.        Interface with customers or sales teams to ensure delivery commitments are met and communicate any potential delays.
