Responsibilities & Context:

• Assist the Section Head in managing daily furnace operations to meet production targets and operational efficiency.

• Supervise and guide production teams to ensure smooth and disciplined shift operations.

• Monitor furnace performance and process parameters to maintain stable and efficient melting operations.

• Ensure consistent product quality by maintaining required operational and process standards.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and minimize operational downtime.

• Identify and troubleshoot production problems and implement timely corrective actions.

• Ensure effective utilization of raw materials and resources to reduce waste and optimize cost efficiency.

• Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance within the furnace area.

• Maintain operational records, reports, and process documentation accurately.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and product quality.

• Train and mentor production staff to strengthen operational capability and maintain best practices.
