Additional Requirements:
Practical experience in Microsoft word, excel and email correspondence.
Sound written and verbal communication skill in Bengali and English.
Interpersonal and team work skill.Glass furnace operation monitoring.
Batch feeding control.
Temperature and combustion monitoring.
Refractory condition observation.
Responsibilities & Context:
Assist in managing shift operations in the melting shop to ensure uninterrupted production.
Supervise and guide production staff to maintain discipline, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Assign daily tasks to operators and workers according to operational requirements.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper utilization of machinery and production resources.
Support the maintenance team by reporting equipment issues and assisting in basic troubleshooting.
Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and workplace regulations within the production area.
Maintain product quality by monitoring process parameters and operational standards.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely production support.
Maintain accurate shift reports, production logs, and operational documentation.
Assist in resolving minor operational issues and workforce conflicts during shifts.
Escalate major operational or technical issues to the Assistant Engineer or relevant authority.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
