• Demonstrated experience in basement works, super high-rise towers, and 5-star hotels.

• Familiarity with international project delivery standards (FIDIC, EPC, Design-Build, etc.).

• Knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and logistics for large projects.

• Experience in integrated planning of civil, MEP, façade, interiors, and fit-out works.

• Hands-on knowledge of earned value analysis, S-curve reporting, and resource histograms.

• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory), MS Project, and other planning software.

• Exposure to international contractors/consultants will be an advantage.

Meghna Hotel and Resorts Limited (MHRL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is developing a country-leading Five Star Hotel & Resorts and Commercial Building with aesthetic and state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Dhaka City, Bangladesh. MGI is seeking for experienced professional to oversee planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for this flagship project. The incumbent will report to the Project Director of MHRL.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the master project schedule covering design, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, and handover phases to ensure timely project delivery.

• Prepare detailed construction programs, including activity sequencing, resource loading, and critical path analysis to optimize project execution.

• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure proper schedule alignment to avoid conflicts and delays.

• Monitor baseline versus actual progress, identify variances, and proactively highlight potential delays or risks to maintain project control.

• Track progress using Primavera P6 / MS Project and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports to provide accurate project status.

• Develop dashboards, look-ahead schedules, and recovery programs as required to support proactive decision-making.

• Report delays, bottlenecks, and recommend mitigation measures to senior management to minimize schedule impact.

• Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to integrate cost and schedule data to enable effective project budgeting.

• Support cash flow forecasting and implement earned value management (EVM) techniques to monitor project performance.

• Conduct time impact analysis (TIA) for claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) requests to support contractual compliance.

• Maintain accurate documentation of schedule updates, revisions, and supporting records to ensure traceability and transparency.

• Serve as the focal point for planning between the owner, PMC, consultants, and contractors to streamline communication.

• Lead planning-related discussions in project coordination meetings to drive alignment and informed decision-making.

• Mentor and guide the site and project engineers on planning tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance team capability.
