Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Human Resource Management, Finance or any other relevant subject

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain payroll information by designing systems, directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
∎ Update payroll records by reviewing and approving compensation and benefits, job title, and any kind of transfer
∎ Pay employees by directing preparation and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts
∎ Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
∎ Balance the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
∎ Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests
∎ Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
∎ Give strategic input in preparing, tracking and monitoring personnel budget
∎ Comply with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions
∎ Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
∎ Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies
∎ Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
∎ Maintain payroll staff by orienting, and training employees
∎ Prepare reports daily, weekly, or monthly as required by management
∎ Perform any other task assigned by supervisor/ management
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
∎ Have experience in working ERP and Esalary
∎ Have effective acquaintance with people management, data entry management
∎ Have excellent reporting skill
∎ Have a good understanding and command in labor law and compliance issues
∎ Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
∎ Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization
∎ Have excellent knowledge on Office Applications, Advanced Excel
∎ Excellent language skills both English and Bengali

Salary: Negotiable
