∎ Relevant work experience is preferable.
∎ Should have significant experience working on Worker's Rights/ Industrial relations issues.
∎ Have knowledge of the RMG industry in Bangladesh.
∎ Self-motivated and organized.
∎ Able to work quickly and well under pressure, both independently and as a team member, juggling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
∎ Communication skills, drafting, and report writing capability in Bangla/ English.
∎ Computer operating knowledge especially in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and in email communication.
∎ Relevant work experience is preferable.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Form community-based Self-help groups of garment workers in project areas.
∎ Conduct Awareness sessions among workers/members of self-help groups.
∎ Handle queries of the workers on workplace and GBV issues and provide legal advice to clients.
∎ Receive complaints and applications from clients in the project area.
∎ Ensure implementation and reporting of project activities and achieve project objectives.
∎ Ensure project visibility in the project area.
∎ Communication with GO/NGO offices in project areas.
∎ Make referrals to Dhaka Head Office and Legal Cell to pursue mediation and litigation in appropriate cases and accompany clients to the Head Office if necessary.
∎ Liaise between lawyers and clients, other service providers, and community leaders for the victim's support.
∎ Make referrals for legal aid or other servicer seekers to service-providing organizations on the workplace, family/land matters, or livelihood issues.
∎ Meet and network with business bodies, local authorities, service providers, and community leaders to ensure timely and efficient referrals of victims for comprehensive support.
∎ Assist in carrying out advocacy activities at the local and national levels for law and policy reform aimed at better protection of workers' rights.
∎ Follow up on cases.
∎ Maintain an applications database register, including certified and signed printouts of each claim form.
∎ Prepare and preserve relevant information and documents for each applicant.
∎ Prepare monthly, event, and other data reports, as required.
∎ Carry out any other activities as and when required.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
