Winrock International is implementing in Bangladesh a five-year USAID-funded counter-human trafficking project entitled “USAID’s Fight Slavery and Trafficking-In-Persons” (FSTIP) Activity. The goal of FSTIP is to
Enhance the systems, capacity, and sustainability of justice sector actors and institutions.
Prevent human rights violations and increase awareness of trafficking in persons (TIP) and Child Marriage (CM); and
Strengthen the protection of TIP and CM victims.
Position Summary:
The Operations and Administration Officer will allocate 30% of his/her time to human resources concerns including staff data base maintenance, staff contract renewal, staff timesheets, leave management, insurances, consultant agreements, and general human resources tasks. Seventy percent of his/her time will be dedicated to assisting the Office Manager with general administrative tasks and supporting in project procurements.
The Operations and Administration Officer will sit on the Director-Finance & Operation’s team, which is responsible for procurement, human resources, office management, administration, and logistics to ensure that operations and administration of the project are carried out in compliance with Winrock’s and the donor’s rules and regulations.
