Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
∎ Extensive knowledge of the Paint & Chemical production process
∎ planning and organizing production schedules.
∎ Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and adjust production schedules accordingly.
∎ Oversee and ensure adherence to quality control processes throughout the production lifecycle.
∎ Implement and maintain quality standards to meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
∎ Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.
∎ Implement best practices to enhance overall operational performance.
∎ Manage and allocate resources effectively, including raw materials, manpower, and equipment.
∎ Work closely with procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials.
∎ Develop and manage budgets for the production department, ensuring cost control and efficiency.
∎ Implement cost control measures to optimize operational expenses
∎ Monitor expenses, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
∎ Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and implement corrective measures.
