Responsibilities & Context:
Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is one of the largest conglomerates in Bangladesh. Meghna PVC Ltd., a sister concern of the Meghna Group of Industries, is currently the pioneer and leading PVC & PET resin manufacturer in Bangladesh. We are actively seeking proactive and dynamic individuals for the role of Officer/ Sr. Officer, Logistics for our Chemical Plant. The incumbent will report to the department head for daily duties and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure inbound/outbound logistics and accordingly products are as per requirements and delivery schedules.
Monitor drivers and helpers’ trip quantities and manage them for material collection, loading and delivery purposes.
Maintain and update inventory, depot stock records to ensure an efficient logistics process.
Assist in preparing logistics and support plans for factory operations.
Verify orders, issue delivery notes and prepare essential documents for proper documentation.
Prepare reports on logistics, fuel, vehicle maintenance and schedule maintenance.
Coordinate to handle materials, storage and personnel logistics for smooth operation.
Assist in developing and implementing logistical strategies to ensure delivery in time.
Coordinate with the supply chain and other related departments.
