Additional Requirements: The candidate should have sound knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, operation breakdown, SMV calculation, manpower optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and proficiency in IE tools and reporting are highly preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context:
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and result-oriented professional for the position of Sr. Officer/ Officer (Industrial Engineering) for our Knit Garments Division.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard times and improve work methods
Perform line balancing and layout design
Enhance production capacity through method study and workplace optimization
Develop and maintain SMV for various production processes
Carry out capacity studies and support production planning
Monitor hourly and daily production targets and take corrective actions as needed
Identify production bottlenecks and implement effective solutions
Prepare skill matrices and support multi-skilling of workers
Coordinate with the production team to ensure achievement of daily targets
Track non-productive time (NPT) and take initiatives to reduce losses
Ensure smooth production flow from raw material input to final output and maintain WIP
Drive continuous process improvement through Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean practices.
