Overall Job Description

• The Officer – HR will support the effective implementation of Human Resources functions of the Bangladesh Country Programme by ensuring smooth execution of HR operations, employee services, and administrative processes. The role will assist in recruitment, onboarding, HR documentation, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management processes, and maintenance of HR records and systems in alignment with the organization’s policies, values, and REC Asia HR framework.

• S/he will support compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law and organizational policies, maintain confidentiality of employee information, and contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe working environment.

• The Officer – HR will report to the Country Operation Officer and will be based in Dhaka. The position requires close coordination with all team members in Bangladesh and with the Regional HR team.

Employment Type: Project-based fixed-term.
