Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support the planning and development of a decent employment strategy for the ISEC project incorporating the gender and social inclusion strategy of BRAC.
∎ Ensure coordination with different sector-specific employers and formation of local/sectoral employers committee.
∎ Analyse sectoral demand for skilled workforce and develop a strategy for employment of job seekers.
∎ Establish a private sector network at the regional level and ensure the functioning of the established network.
∎ Establish and maintain liaison with potential employers in finding decent employment opportunities for the job seekers and ensuring their participation in different BRAC activities.
∎ Ensure decent employment, apprenticeship, industrial attachment and on-the-job training for TVET graduates and job seekers.
∎ Conduct career guidance or career counselling sessions for job seekers. In this regard, identify relevant industry experts, employers, successful labour migrant returnees and successful TVET graduates as resource persons for career guidance.
∎ Collect primary and secondary data relating to studies, job market surveys or other requirements.
∎ Prepare and circulate required reports as per organisation and project need. Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.· Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ BRAC is implementing a skills development and livelihoods project called "Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities in Cox's Bazar (ISEC)" with the support of Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and in partnership with the ILO. The aim of the project is the economic empowerment of the host community in Cox’s Bazar district through gender-sensitive, market-relevant skills development. The ISEC project focuses on bolstering the economic empowerment and participation of various groups—especially women, people with disabilities, adolescents, and youths—within the host community of Cox's Bazar. A key objective of the project is to improve the employability and economic resilience of almost 24,000 individuals from the host community in Cox's Bazar.
