Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop, manage and coordinate the digital content creation and social media strategy for assigned project
∎ Collaborate and work closely with different programmes within BRAC as well as external stakeholders
∎ Coordinate with BRAC’s central communication team to provide them with programmatic guidelines to manage social media properties and support SDP’s communication team from time to time
∎ Analyze website, email, and media metrics for content effectiveness and adjust contents to improve the project objectives
∎ Conduct thorough industry analysis pertaining to the stakeholder landscape in the digital space and align the contents in respective platforms
∎ Conduct rigorous research on diverse client portfolios and come up with effective ideas to reach them
∎ Take part in extensive research on digital content in order to connect with potential learners and to reach stakeholders of the project
∎ Ensure the replication of any good example (digital content, web application, mobile application, web portal, social media content etc.) that serves the project’s purpose
∎ Manage end-to-end digital products that are designed for the project and ensure strong presence in digital media to boost overall SDP goals and project objectives
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound conceptual knowledge on major elements associated with development / NGO management
∎ Understanding on key development issues in the context of urban and rural Bangladesh
∎ Knowledge on gender and diversity issues is desirable
∎ Knowledge on search engine optimisation strategies, content management system (CMS), Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, HTML and other tools to promote the digital contents and products
∎ Advanced knowledge on Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity and other related tools
∎ Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated communication strategies and plans (traditional, digital, and experiential)
∎ Exceptional content generating and editing skills for a diverse range of purposes and formats, including print, online, interactive, and social media
∎ Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills both in English and Bangla.
∎ Excellent in operating Microsoft Office (MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel) and other relevant applications
∎ Must be an excellent team player and proactive in building relationships
∎ Should be adaptable, prompt and willing to work under pressure
