Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Meghna Ceramic Industries Limited (MCIL) is one of the sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI). MCIL is engaged with producing tiles for wall & floor areas of private and commercial buildings, government institutions, Mosques and etc. MCIL is pursuing excellent growth through a motivated & performance-driven delivery & distribution team under the flagship brand named `Fresh Ceramics`. Currently, MCIL is searching some highly motivated, experienced, proactive & energetic professionals for its delivery section of MCIL Plant in Narayanganj. The incumbents will report to the department head for their duties and responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and provide Delivery Challan before trucks leave and update ERP records to ensure proper documentation.

  • Coordinate loading and unloading activities, and communicate with relevant departments about product shortages to maintain smooth operations.

  • Assist in processing orders by coordinating with warehouse teams to pick, pack, and dispatch goods according to customer needs.

  • Prepare invoices and gate passes, and organize product distribution to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.

  • Monitor warehouse stock levels and deliver goods using FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, Last Out) methods to manage inventory effectively.

  • Maintain accurate delivery and stock registers to manage inventory and vehicle movements.

  • Assist in handling returns or defective products to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Follow up with drivers and dealers to ensure safe and timely delivery from the warehouse to the distribution point.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports such as the number of orders processed, deliveries made, inventory levels, fleet performance, and any issues related to returns or defective products, etc, and submit them to the supervisor.
