∎ Following the massive displacement of around 900,000 Rohingya people into Bangladesh, since the end of August 2017, Tdh is implementing an emergency response program to provide relief to the Rohingya refugees and host communities, notably on Child protection, WASH and Health.
∎ Purpose of the Post:
∎ The nursing care supervisor helps define and implement PHC protocols, for the entire health structure- the human, material and organizational means required for guaranteeing the continuity and quality of health care activities.
∎ Ensuring quality, the nursing supervisor guides the nursing team in the organization and coherent delivery of health care. This includes planning and providing training for the nursing and nursing aid teams.
∎ The nursing supervisor ensures the coordination of health care services with the different actors in the structure (doctors, logistics service, administration, etc).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Follow up of activity and definition of objectives:
∎ Describing and analyzing his/her domain in its environment (collecting data, assisting with statistics and line lists)
∎ Participating in discussions on the running of the activity and definition of objectives
∎ Implementation of programmes:
∎ Managing departmental and health care activities:
∎ In collaboration with the different departments (logistics, administration, etc.), guaranteeing the human, material and supplies are available for health activities provided
∎ Standardizing health care practices and procedures within the different departments
∎ Adapting health care procedures in accordance with medical developments
∎ Checking that nursing care protocols and security and asepsis rules are followed by the health care personnel. Take measures to improve hygiene and sanitation.
∎ Checking on the quality of global patient case management
∎ Ensuring inter-departmental coordination in order to maintain the continuity of care.
∎ Coordinating the implementation of adapted patient files (registration, follow up, archiving). Monitoring that documentation of patient files is done correctly
∎ Organizing regular information sessions and training as appropriate.
∎ Encouraging health education sessions within the unit in collaboration with health promoter and members of the clinic staff
∎ Managing the premises, material and supplies:
∎ With the logistician, planning and organizing the set-out, renovation and maintenance of the premises
∎ With the logistician collaborating for the best possible hygiene of the clinic & Waste Management
∎ With the staff, identifying material needs (equipment and consumable material) required for the functioning of the departments
∎ Defining the procedures for and regularity of logistics and medical material supply for the different departments
∎ Checking on the correct usage of material and medicines
∎ Supervising the management of the central and departmental pharmacies & document - ensuring monitoring of consumption and requests to avoid stock ruptures;
∎ Encouraging as much cooperation as possible between the different departments in order to ensure respect for the work of all personnel
∎ Ensuring all departments follow the updated protocols and clinical guidelines adapted to the context;
∎ Human resources management:
∎ Team composition
∎ With the supervisors, organizing the replacement of absent personnel
∎ Distribute tasks appropriately among staff to cover the needs of the health facility
∎ Monthly rosters and manage of any sick Nurses
∎ Managing the team
∎ Organizing and supervising the work of his team members
∎ Leading and organizing regular team meetings
∎ Organizing the circulation of information within his team
∎ Identifying personnel with potential within his team
∎ Assessment of learning needs:
∎ Assist PHC manager in identifying training needs for staff and assist in planning and implementing training
∎ Mentor members of the nursing team in order to maintain quality of services and develop health structure;
∎ Ongoing training:
∎ Defining the training needs of his team with the project objectives in mind
∎ Participating in the training of his team by accompanying individuals in their work
∎ Administrative framework:
∎ Adhering to the rules as set out in the national internal regulations during his personnel management
∎ Supervising the planning of personnel for the different departments

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Clinical Experience as a nurse in OPD, IPD or emergency settings.
∎ Experience with staff management: leadership, coaching and development, rosters, sick leave, logistical needs
∎ Good time management
∎ Good organizational skills
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Language: English- written and spoken, knowledge of basic informatics
∎ Desirable:
∎ Nurse Supervisor or Head Nurse Experience important
∎ Experience in the fast-paced health center
∎ Experience in pharmacy management a plus
∎ Experience and skilled in understanding health statistics

Salary: Tk. 72600 (Monthly)
