Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work on a scrum team with senior developers and QA to implement and deliver new features, bug fixes, and other platform improvements.
∎ Participate in sprint planning and grooming activities, providing input on designs, dependencies, and estimates.
∎ Maintain strong source control principals allowing for regular releases, patches, and fixes.
∎ Participate in code reviews, identifying weaknesses in code security efficiency, and standards.
∎ Participate in deployment activities to test and production environments, in a high-availability, clustered, Azure cloud environment.
∎ Assist with infrastructure maintenance of a clustered, redundant cloud environment, including firewalls, application servers, and databases.
∎ Use design principals that promote and enable automation efforts for testing and deployment
∎ Implement test and mock interfaces to enable testing and ensure development environments accurately mimic production.
∎ Test, troubleshoot, and debug defects in development, staging, and production environments
∎ Interact directly with clients assisting with business case workflows through to web service integrations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 7-15 years of experience in hands-on software design and development
∎ Experience in payments or financial technology strongly desired, i.e. TSYS, Elavon, First Data, etc.
∎ Experience working with geographically dispersed highly motivated and innovative teams
∎ Familiar with cloud-based architecture, including data management and integration architecture
∎ Experience with .NET, Azure platform, and various Microsoft tools
∎ Experience with front-end development using Angular
∎ Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to work in fast-paced, start-up environment, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional results on demanding timelines
