∎ Project Description: BLAST is looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Cox’s Bazar (Ukhia) Office under the project PLA_HC . The project aims to provide legal services – legal literacy, legal advice, information, referral, mediation, and where appropriate litigation – in three (3) Unions (Nhilla, Sabrang, and Baharchhara) in Teknaf Upazila of Cox’s Bazar to ensure access to justice for individuals in the community as well as to provide increased responsiveness of local justice actors – by capacity building training to project staff, community volunteers (Self-help group) and local government representatives.
∎ Project Duration: Position for six months from 01 August 2020 to January 2021.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assessing IRC programme activities following time lines and milestones;
∎ Developing and improving monitoring tools, formats, performance indicators/checklists for qualitative and quantitative report;
∎ Coordinating and communicating with different stakeholders, including clients, paralegals, project staff, panel lawyers, government officials, civil society, for proper monitoring and evaluation of project activities; and tracking and compiling information from the field, ensuring desegregation by gender, and other relevant criteria,
∎ Ensuring data entry and documentation of case progress in the case management system;
∎ Any other task as and when required by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years relevant working experience
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of qualitative and quantitative assessment techniques
∎ Strong communication skill and proven experience in interpreting information and report writing in Bangla and English
∎ Capacity to work independently, and under pressure
∎ Proficient in MS-Word, excel and power point etc.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
∎ Costs in relation to field work will be borne by the organization according to its rules
