Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors or master’s degree in statistics, economics, anthropology, social science, or related field.

Job Context:
∎ This proposed initiative aims to provide legal services – legal literacy, legal advice, information, referral, mediation, and where appropriate litigation – in five (5) Unions (Haldiapalong, Rajapalong, Jaliapalong, Ratnapalong, Palongkhali) of Ukhiya Upazila & three (3) Rohingya camps (1e, 1w, 15) area in Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar to ensure access to justice for individuals in the community as well as to provide increased responsiveness of local justice actors – by capacity building training to project staff, community volunteers (Self-help group) and local government representatives. BLAST will carry out rights-based advocacy and will ensure that host and Rohingya community members in the targeted areas can access formal and informal justice mechanisms and that justice sector actors are more responsive.
∎ The position will provide extensive support for a regular field visit, track progress, data quality control, conduct post-distribution monitoring surveys, capture learning, best practice, and support partner agencies/organizations to ensure program quality.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Data management: Directly work with central MIS manager for ensuring CMS data entry, analysis, and share.
∎ Data Collection: Conducting FGD and KII and submitting a detailed report to the central M&E team.
∎ Reporting: Ensuring quantitative reporting every month and narrative report as per the donor reporting format in every quarter/ Annual.
∎ Project Implementation monitoring/ Process monitoring: As per the project design need to ensure intensive field site visit and observe project activities like courtyard meeting, training, Self Help Group discussion, etc with specific observation tools.
∎ Support management and accountability through routine, accurate collection, and reporting of information that confirms the status of project activities based on a log frame.
∎ Collect case studies from the field for qualitative progress monitoring.
∎ Assisting the central M&E team where necessary.
∎ The duties and responsibilities may change a bit based on project needs and special circumstances.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4 years of experience in monitoring and evaluating social development projects, concerning women’s social empowerment project may prefer.
∎ Proven experience in the application of monitoring methods, approaches, and tools.
∎ Proven experience in survey design, data collection, both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
∎ Knowledge of the application of ICT tools (Smartphone technology) to collect data is an asset.
∎ Experience in working with PNGO activity monitoring skills will be preferred.
∎ Good written and oral communication skills in English and Bangla, including writing monthly reports and present coherent and convincing messages to different audiences.
∎ Work experience in Rohingya camps preferred.
∎ Punctual and good at time management and strong relationship building skills
∎ Understanding of protection issues facing our beneficiaries

Salary:
∎ Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
∎ Costs in relation to fieldwork will be borne by the organization according to its rules
