Job Context:

∎ Unit/Division: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Division.
∎ General Functions:
∎ Under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager of the project and overall supervision of the Unit Head of MEAL and working closely with the relevant team leader and units, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities of the assigned project titled "Creating Models of Ethical Recruitment Practices in Bangladesh"

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Coordinate the implementation of M&E activities at the project sites according to the programme goals and objectives in close coordination with the Project Manager.
∎ 2. Compile and analyses periodic donor reports in line with the M&E plans and agreed reporting schedules.
∎ 3. Roll out the M&E framework for accurate implementation of M&E tools for both ethical recruitment and community engagement component.
∎ 4. Compile monthly reports, drawing on M&E activities' outputs where possible, describing the activities, results and challenges of the programme in close coordination with the units.
∎ 5. Carry out regular monitoring activities in the project sites and provide timely feedback to Programme Manager and International Monitoring & Evaluation Officer and the programme team.
∎ 6. Facilitate regular feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders on activities and services provided through the organization's support in close coordination with the project team.
∎ 7. Coordinate adaptive learning and community response and feedback activities across all project activities
∎ 8. Lead the accountability to affected populations activities of the project in close liaison with the Communications team
∎ 9. In coordination with the Communication officer, document the process and activities of on-going projects such as capturing case stories for donor reports, website and newsletters based on M&E activities in the project sites.
∎ 10. Liaise with the Communications team and the Finance Officer to ensure adherence to the visibility guidelines and compliance to all donor specific requirements
∎ 11. Support the programme team in planning and organizing meetings, workshops, events, dialogues and consultations.
∎ 12. Train and provide capacity building support to project staff and implementing partners staff on M&E, reporting, adaptive learning and community response management
∎ 13. Serve as primary contact of the project on all data management matters.
∎ 14. Lead in the development and roll out of new data management initiatives where applicable, working closely with the Head of MEAL unit
∎ 15. Undertake duty travel related to M&E activities as required. Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five years operational experience in implementation of M&E, reporting and project management;
∎ Advanced knowledge and skills of computer applications of MS Word, Excel, database management, SPSS or other statistical packages;
∎ Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; courtesy, tact and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of diverse cultural and national backgrounds;
∎ Well-developed skills in personal organization, priority setting, problem solving and writing; Strong client orientation and service approach with personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and drive for results;
∎ High degree of judgment and initiative; ability to work with a high degree of independence within assigned areas;
∎ Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
