Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop, maintain, and enhance test plans and test cases for our school ERP system
∎ Design, build and maintain automated test suites for functional, performance, and regression testing
∎ Collaborate closely with developers to identify, reproduce, and document defects
∎ Validate the work of developers before pushing changes into production
∎ Develop and implement QA workflows and best practices to ensure high-quality software releases
∎ Monitor and analyze test results, track defects, and provide timely feedback to the development team
∎ Participate in Agile/Scrum development process, attending standups and sprint planning sessions
∎ Continuously improve testing processes and tools to ensure the most efficient and effective QA strategy
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains current and competitive
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 21 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in a mid/senior role
∎ Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
∎ Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar)
∎ Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing
∎ Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
∎ Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and a commitment to best practices
∎ Nice-to-haves:
∎ Experience with performance and/or security testing
∎ Familiarity with frontend and backend technologies, such as Vue.js, PHP, and Laravel
∎ Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools and processes
∎ Experience in the Edtech industry or with School ERP systems
