Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare periodic financial, transaction, settlement, reconciliation, compliance, operational, and management reports.
Reconcile bank statements, merchant settlements, payment transactions, fees, commissions, refunds, adjustments, receivables, invoices, and related financial records.
Identify reconciliation discrepancies and coordinate with banks, merchants, Mobile Financial Service providers, payment partners, and internal teams for timely resolution.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports in accordance with Bangladesh Bank requirements, Payment System Operator obligations, internal reporting schedules, and company policies.
Assist in maintaining ISO 27001 documentation, regulatory certifications, policies, registers, audit evidence, approvals, licences, and compliance records.
Coordinate the collection and organization of documents required for internal audits, external audits, inspections, regulatory assessments, and management reviews.
Monitor regulatory and compliance deadlines and follow up with relevant departments to ensure timely completion and submission.
Review merchant profiles, documents, and transactions from compliance, operational, and risk-management perspectives.
Coordinate with banks, MFS providers, financial institutions, technology partners, and other stakeholders for onboarding, integration, settlement, EMI facilities, payment channels, merchant IDs, and operational activities.
Prepare and submit required documents to banks and partners and follow up regarding approvals, agreements, technical requirements, commercial terms, settlements, and pending operational issues.
Maintain professional relationships with banking, MFS, technology, merchant, institutional, and business partners.
Collect, review, verify, and organize merchant onboarding and Know Your Customer documents, ensuring that all documents are complete, valid, properly approved, and maintained in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
Coordinate with merchants, banks, compliance personnel, and internal technical teams to facilitate smooth payment-gateway onboarding, testing, integration, and go-live processes.
Monitor merchant transactions, settlements, refunds, disputes, and operational issues, and assist merchants in understanding payment, settlement, documentation, and onboarding procedures.
Maintain updated merchant records, onboarding trackers, integration status reports, operational databases, and follow-up schedules.
Identify prospective merchants, educational institutions, e-commerce businesses, corporate organizations, government entities, NGOs, healthcare organizations, and other potential partners.
Conduct market research to identify business opportunities, industry trends, competitor activities, prospective client segments, and service-expansion opportunities.
Generate leads through market visits, referrals, networking, digital channels, databases, direct communication, and institutional outreach.
Contact prospective clients, arrange meetings, assess their payment and operational requirements, and present appropriate company solutions.
Assist in product demonstrations, business presentations, commercial discussions, client meetings, and negotiations.
Prepare business proposals, commercial proposals, quotations, Letters of Intent, expressions of interest, tender documents, presentations, agreements, and other client-facing materials.
Support the preparation and submission of government, corporate, institutional, and private-sector tenders.
Maintain an updated business-development pipeline, lead database, meeting records, conversion status, proposal tracker, and follow-up schedule.
Coordinate with management, finance, compliance, legal, technical, and customer-support teams to develop customized solutions for prospective and existing clients.
Support the achievement of assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual business-development, sales, onboarding, and collection targets.
Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for cross-selling, service expansion, retention, and long-term collaboration.
Prepare periodic business-development reports covering leads generated, meetings conducted, proposals submitted, conversions achieved, expected revenue, and pending opportunities.
Draft, review, organize, and maintain merchant agreements, service agreements, Letters of Intent, proposals, meeting minutes, approvals, and related business correspondence.
Coordinate with management and relevant departments to complete agreements and obtain required approvals and signatures.
Maintain properly organized physical and digital records of agreements, merchant documents, reports, regulatory correspondence, meeting minutes, approvals, and operational documents.
Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, record discussion points, circulate meeting minutes, and follow up on agreed actions.
Prepare operational trackers, compliance status reports, progress reports, financial summaries, presentations, and management updates.
Assist management with research, analysis, documentation, reporting, presentations, and other operational assignments.
Perform any other finance, compliance, business operations, merchant management, or business-development duties assigned by management.
