Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the overall supervision of the Emergency Health Programme Coordinator and the direct supervision of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Project Officer the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the operational, implementation, and monitoring of the all IOM MHPSS portfolio in Cox's Bazar, according to relevant International guidelines and standards. The MHPSS programme includes promoting the psychosocial well-being of Rohingya and host community, by integrating MHPSS into the health response and the broader humanitarian response; Strengthened existing positive coping mechanisms and resilient responses that foster a more cohesive community; Improved the provision of specialised services through developing a training/supervision programme in coordination with the Government and academia; and to equip partners, humanitarian workers and affected population with the capacity to provide minimum response on MHPSS as well to promote a "do no harm" approach.
∎ The incumbent will be responsible to support the following activities:
∎ 1. Support the MHPSS Project Officer- coordinator to monitor the activities in the field to guarantee adherence to the workplan and compliance of indicators of achievement of the programme.
∎ 2. Supervise the MHPSS Team in the field to develop and implementing a holistic and systemic MHPSS strategy for IOM in Cox's Bazar, in line with the scope areas of the programme.
∎ 3. Provide regular reports and analysis of the information collected at the field level to guarantee accuracy in the provision of services in compliance of the accountability to donors and main partners.
∎ 4. Support the implementation and operational of all the MHPSS activities in the field. Determine appropriate coordination and referral system with health actors providing MHPSS services
∎ 5. Identify training needs, areas of improvement in the implementation of the activities to ensure adequate capacity building to IOM MHPSS staff and Health Unit, PSS mobile teams in the prioritise camp sides and other relevant actors, refugee population is provided with adequate interventions and training.
∎ 6. Contribute to build capacity of key actors in each IOM health centre at the main camp sides, such as PFA, MHPSS training, referral pathways, and ensure IOM services are included where relevant in the Health response.
∎ 7. Ensure at any given time MHPSS program is driven by a sound MEAL framework and qualitative and quantitative indicators are always relevant and updated
∎ 8. Supporting to mentor IOM MHPSS team in the camps, including volunteers, and ensure IOM administrative procedures are always respected
∎ 9. In collaboration with the MHPSS project officer establish comprehensive clear work-plans for staff and PSS teams and provide timely weekly and monthly reporting on IOM MHPSS activities
∎ 10. Undertake field assignments and assessments as needed and requested by the MHPSS Project officer
∎ 11. Undertake any other duty as may be assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of previous experiences in psychosocial and mental health interventions in emergencies.
∎ At least 3 years of previous experiences in implementing and operationalizing MHPSS projects, refugees or conflict affected populations.
∎ Significant experience in implementing MHPSS projects, providing case management, coaching, and mentoring to both specialists and non-specialists
∎ Demonstrated experience and knowledge of UN and international agencies structures.
∎ Experience in capacity building activities and curriculum development is an advantage.
