Experience:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product development, sales, and marketing) to plan and execute the headwear assortment strategy. Ensure product offerings align with customer needs, trends, and seasonal requirements.
Oversee the day-to-day management of headwear categories, including hats, caps, and other headwear accessories.
Analyze sales trends, stock levels, and customer preferences to drive product assortment decisions.
Ensure optimal stock levels of headwear products, working closely with inventory control to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Assist in forecasting demand and managing product replenishment schedules.
Work closely with the visual merchandising team to ensure headwear displays are engaging, on-brand, and optimized for sales performance in stores and online platforms.
Build and maintain relationships with key headwear suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing, timelines, and terms to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.
Monitor and analyze headwear sales data and KPIs. Prepare regular reports on performance, identifying areas for improvement and action plans to meet sales targets.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of merchandising associates to ensure high levels of productivity and performance.
Provide guidance on product knowledge, sales techniques, and visual presentation.
Stay current with headwear trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings.
Use this insight to inform merchandising strategies and keep the product assortment fresh and relevant.
