Additional Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools (Word, PowerPoint).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong technical knowledge of woven garments and fabrics.

• Well-disciplined and productivity-focused mindset.

• Ability to handle multitasking and prioritize responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Knowledge and Costing:

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of woven and knit products, including local and imported woven & knit fabrics.

• Prepare costings for woven garments and coordinate with development merchandisers to quote prices for development samples.

• Supplier Management and Sourcing:

• Source and select suitable suppliers from the market and existing supplier lists.

• Visit suppliers and factories regularly (weekly/monthly) to ensure smooth operations and build strong relationships.

• Order Management and Follow-Up:

• Develop and maintain a development tracker to ensure on-time delivery of orders.

• Follow up on all stages of order processing, including sampling, production, and shipment by maintaining communication with buyers and suppliers independently.

• Problem Solving and Coordination:

• Anticipate potential issues in production and take necessary steps to resolve them promptly.

• Share critical information with seniors, technical, and QC teams to proactively address challenges.

• Performance and Quality Improvement:

• Work towards consistent improvement in pricing, quality, and lead time.

• Review weekly progress reports, fabric bookings, and balances, and take action on exceptions.

• Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical support to buyers and suppliers to solve problems effectively.

• Stay updated on the latest developments in fabric sourcing, garment production, and cost optimization.

• Multitasking:

• Handle multiple tasks effectively, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery.

• Salary Range: BDT 35,000-45,000 (commensurate with experience).

• Salary Review: Annually.

• Festival Bonus: 2 bonuses per year.
