Experience:

• 3 to 5 years

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any discipline.

• Candidates with degrees in fields related to Ready-Made Garments (RMG), Apparel, or Textile will be given the highest preference.

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position handling above job responsibilities in reputed Manufacturing companies or Buying offices.

• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting production and material issues

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).

• Proficient in English and local language for both speaking and writing

• Self-motivated and well-disciplined to follow LWR SOP.

• Good interpersonal skill.

• Able to work independently and act proactively.

• Confident with “Can do” attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interpret buyer requirements, identify and onboard suitable factories, and train factory teams on SOPs. Maintain consistent communication with buyers to provide updates on order status, approvals, and necessary clarifications.

• Understand basic quality standards, review tech packs (TP), and related documents. Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify specifications and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure the timely development of accurate samples as per buyer requirements.

• Source material suppliers, conduct costing and sampling of materials, and oversee their development to meet buyers’ specified quality standards.

• Evaluate material and production costs, understand product SMV, efficiency, and cost per minute. Negotiate to achieve accurate costing from the right factory.

• Develop procurement timelines, stay updated on logistics and customs processes, and collaborate with relevant parties to ensure timely procurement of materials.

• Assess the quality, color, and standards of bulk materials, approve them for production, manage inventory, conduct regular reconciliations, and optimize material usage to prevent wastage and shortages. Ensure the preparation of QC files for QA reference.

• Plan production efficiently, monitor daily production progress, address shortfalls to prevent delays, ensure timely delivery, and oversee cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing compliance. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for audits and meetings.

• Supervise tasks such as inventory management, pre-production (PP) meetings, pilot runs, inline inspections, pre-final and final inspections, sample approvals, and test reports, ensuring all are completed efficiently and on time.

• Review packing lists to ensure compliance with buyer requirements and oversee all related packaging tasks to maintain adherence to specifications.
