Experience:
Technical, QA, pattern or equivalent qualification in woven and knit garments.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity in technical and quality
Good Understanding of patterns, sewing constructions, and Gerber a plus
Practical experience in handling pattern and garment construction related issues across Men’s, Ladies and kids’ product categories in woven and Knit Fabrics.
Experience in outerwear construction and patterns
Hands on knowledge on garment measurements and grading rules ·
Experience in conducting quality audits
Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English. Should be able to communicate effectively with buyer quality teams and technical designers.
Excellent computer skills.

The Job: This is an important mid management position with scope for rapid career growth resulting in the establishment of a technical department.
Technical & Quality Responsibilities
Review tech pack in detail and guide factory sample room to develop fit samples that meet buyer requirements.
Identify and apply suitable processes to resolve pattern, fit, and manufacturing issues.
Evaluate and approve all samples from development, fitting, adjustment, and final approval stages.
Handle paper patterns and make necessary adjustments.
Communicate with foreign buyers and designers to resolve fit and construction issues.
Provide technical support to merchandising and product teams on cost-effective garment construction and identify potential construction risks.
Support pattern making, fitting, and garment construction during sample and bulk production stages.
Ensure pre-production samples meet established fit, quality standards, and cost specifications.
Communicate technical requirements clearly to internal teams and factories.
Schedule and monitor quality inspectors’ weekly inspection plans, including RAM, pre-production, pilot, in-line, pre-final, and final audits.
Assist Head of QA with email communication with factories and customers.
Prepare quality management presentations as required.
Conduct shadow quality audits including in-line, pre-final, and final inspections.
Participate in pilot run audits to resolve construction and pattern issues.
Monitor and follow up QMS processes with factories.
Assist QA Manager in maintaining factory performance and team performance reports on weekly and monthly basis.
