• Should have minimum 4 years’ experience in merchandising and 2 years as a merchandiser or a higher position in a reputed buying office and/or a factory.

• Outstanding candidates with less than 3 years’ experience will be considered for the position of Associate Merchandiser

• A good knowledge in woven and knit fabrics, garment construction, measurements, embellishments and wash processes.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with buyers, factories and suppliers and convey message clearly.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in an orderly manner

• Prepare reports on order status, delays, and performance metrics

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

• High Proficiency in MS Office applications for data analysis and reporting

• Ideally below 30 years of Age.

The Job: An excellent opportunity for those candidates (Male and Female) who aim to reach their career advancement in apparel merchandising. Infinity provides you the required exposure across all areas of merchandising and leadership skill training to grow into an outstanding personality in the apparel industry.

Those candidates who do not possess the required years of working experience will be considered for the post of Associate Merchandiser.

Responsibilities:

• Support specific tasks related to product development and costing.

• Effectively handle all sample developments by communicating with factory & buyer to ensure accurate sample submission & timely approval.

• Prepare Critical path/T&A in order to achieve buyer delivery date.

• Work closely with the factory to prepare the production plan according to buyer delivery date.

• Follow up with factory and buyer in sourcing and developing fabrics/trims and ensure timely submission and approvals as per dates in the T&A.

• Work with QA team, buyer and the factory to arrange for RAM and pre-production meetings. Follow up with factory on size set submission and work with QA team for review and approval.

• Actively follow up on daily production status to ensure the bulk production is aligned with the production plan in terms of cutting, sewing and packing.

• Effectively communicate any deviation of the dates in the T&A and production status. Involve all stakeholders in taking timely action and ensuring on time delivery.

• Pro-actively Identify the root cause for any deviation from the T&A and production plan. Work with factory and all parties to avoid a delivery delay.

• Review pilot audit and daily quality audit reports issued by the Infinity QA. Monitor defects identified during pilot audit are rectified based on in line audit reports. Effectively report concerns to supervisor & QA manager.

• Coordinate with the compliance team to ensure the factory is compliant with all buyer requirements. Prepare update for supervisor review and action.

• Coordinate with QA team to arrange for 3rd party final audits.

• Utilize skills effectively to build strong and lasting relationships with buyers and factories.
