Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Merchandiser (Team Lead) for our progressive footwear company for smooth operation of our local retail and export business.
∎ 80% desk job and 20% sourcing/market research/outlet involvement
Job Responsibilities:
∎ General Function
∎ Product Development: Analyzing current market demand and trend develop styles prior to the season
∎ Order processing and management- Coordinating the total production and ensuring the quality in coordination with the manufacturer and supplier.
∎ Develop business strategies to raise our customers' pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
∎ Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
∎ Monitoring day to day sales figure for analyzing the trends and finding the pitfalls for initiating corrective measures through management consultation
∎ Visit assigned outlets according to the monthly plan and submit written report to the Operations Manager
∎ Serve customer issues (complaint, feedback, claim, etc.) with a sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of our customer
∎ Creating and organizing promotions and advertising campaigns
∎ Managing the educational materials for training employees
∎ Planning Merchandising
∎ Lead analysis and reporting on Local footwear businesses and product trends (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonally) by category
∎ Develop action plans based on sales performance trends across national business units to impact line-planning process and influence assortment strategies and product merchandising.
∎ Manage annual and seasonal national unit demand planning process and partner with production and logistics to plan production capacity and resource allocation.
∎ Make recommendations and provide planning on season selling.
∎ Conduct market and competitor research to identify and analyze movements and opportunities within the competitive landscape.
∎ Partner with other teams to manage development and execution of automated selling reports.
∎ Visual Merchandising
∎ Create an elevated customer experience by communicating the DNA of the brand in visual merchandising.
∎ Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to leverage all visual merchandising opportunities in retail.
∎ Create enticing visual displays in both windows and interiors.
∎ Export Merchandising
∎ Order Follow-up / Coordination
∎ Closely follow-up the product development work
∎ Follow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
∎ Review and confirm Purchase Orders
∎ Handle customers' inquiries
∎ Monitor and check production status
∎ Follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensure shipment move on time
∎ Provide advice on design and samples to meet customers' requirements
∎ Inventory Management Monitoring
∎ Ensures inventory is checked in, stocked correctly on shelves, and displayed within 24 hours of receipt per operational standards
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Effective verbal and written communication skills
∎ Managerial and organizational skills
∎ Strong visual merchandising skills
∎ Minimum 5 years of working knowledge of footwear, accessories, and shoe care.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills necessary for customer and employee interactions
∎ Basic mathematical skills
∎ Knowledge of corporate and Store Operations policies and procedures
